Re: Extra Holding Tank

Might be worh investigating the treatment systems (names like Purasan, Lectrasan, etc.), if you're not in a No Discharge Zone (NDZ)?

Re: Extra Holding Tank

We have a 225 gallon tank directly under the head, pump out every three months or so out at sea. No Y valve, no smelly hoses, no hassle. I know you're about to tell me there is no room on your three stateroom four head sailboat for a tank that size, but we all know it's your choice.

Re: Extra Holding Tank

There's always a way to increase the size of a tank. Having multiple tanks necessitates multiplying the plumbing, vents, etc... Which adds unnecessarily to the inevitable problems.
