Any of your choices are as good / as bad as each other - depends on how used, where and when. None of them will be as "idiot proof" as a decent sized RIB.

I like the look of that Double Eagle - but on something that size / design I would not want to be more than a hour or so away from a safe port. and would keep an eye on the weather - plus would not be a boat I would choose to push my luck on. Having said that, as long as you do have full power and can drive her when the sea is up then likely most things likely to encounter will simply become only unpleasant. Likely .

I guess from your thread that your working out of the UK. For North Sea conditions I'd look at a Saga 27 if I were you.

I was in the UK, but now I am on the Pacific NW.
