Cruiser for a First Timer?

Hi,

I'm a newbie and this is my first post. Anyway, I want to buy my first boat within the next couple of weeks. We looked at boats yesterday, and I paid a deposit on a 24' low profile cuddy.

I like the boat but want the amenities of a small cruiser such as a head, galley, shower, etc. and the ability to sleep more than 2 people. The sales guy was really pushing the cuddy because he says it will be easier to handle than a boat with a higher above-water profile. He also said it will be harder to dock it.

For reference, I'm looking for a used boat between 23 and 27 feet that will sleep 4. Any thoughts or comments?
