Cruisealong Boat ?

Anyone ever heard or have information on this boat manufacturer? I have the opportunity to pick up a 36' model all wood in tough shape. The only info I have managed to come across so far is that it may have been made bu Cruise-a-home although I havnt been able to confirm it.
Thx

Info I could find indicate Cruise-a-Home made a 31 and a 40. If it predates those then I would beware of the "free boat". Wood boats this old really can consume huge amounts of time and money. Tough shape may require substantial efforts to just move it to some place where you can work on it.

Perhaps if you had more information others here could be more helpful. You could post some pictures to your photo library that we could all take a look at.

Opinions about old boats are easy to come by here when you supply a little bit more information.

FWIW, I was born in Liverpool, NY.

Hello,

I had a 28' single screw back in the early 80s. Great little boat. It was always kept under cover. I don't see any around anymore...Not sure what happened to the manufacturer.... I have a picture somewhere....

Yes I grew up with these boats. Great boat built at Solomon's Island in the old Navy Ship Yard.

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, ghostrider5408.

You may not have noticed that Liverpool Las’ query originates from 2006.
