Could I Live and Sail

is it possible to live and sail coast to coast in a 20' 30' 2 birth boat. example= loftus 70hp mercury single outboard sailing solo

Well, how is your draft and your mast-down height (air draft) compared to the depth of canals and bridge clearance if you're literally sailing coast to coast?

In the USA, the book "River Horse" described a powerboat trip across the USA, with just a short trailer portage over part of the Rocky Mountains in Idaho. Several parts of the journey would have been too shallow or dangerous for a fixed-keel sailboat, including much of the upper Missouri River.

There, you can only do that in Scotland as there are not the waterways in England or Wales to allow such a trip.
