CE category "D" boats

I need some direction.
I'm looking for some examples of CE category "D" boats. I have not been able to find images of any on the web.

My dinghy is Category C, so hard to imagine what would get a D - maybe a pool float toy?

SHELTERED WATERS: Designed for voyages on sheltered coastal waters, small bays, small lakes, rivers and canals when conditions up to, and including, wind force 4 and significant wave heights up to, and including, 0.3m may be experienced, with occasional waves of 0.5m maximum height, for example from passing vessels.

In other words small sailing dinghy's etc.

I had to modify my Google search and now found CE certification info.

From what I read it is an European thing and some boats are certified differently depending on how many people are on board. Beneteau rates their boats (for example) for 'Ocean - Cat A' with a few people on board but drops the certification to 'Offshore B' if enough people are added.

Cat 'D' will be small row boats. If you google image 'small row boats' you should see more examples examples.

The CE is a self regulated scam set up by the mass market boat builders of Europe and sanctioned by Brussels..
To many new and secondhand boats were coming in from outside Europe..
It has sweet FA to do with seaworthiness and build quality..

You've sort of got it bass ackward

Boats are certified differently depending on the conditions they are sailing in. The "worse" the conditions, the fewer people can be carried.

It's not a case of "adding people" for Cat B, it's a case of reducing the number of people permitted in Cat B if used in Cat A conditions.

I can carry 20 people in Cat D conditions, but as I move further offshore, the number of people I can carry goes down.
