Canvas enclosure for Mainship

I have a 1986 mainship. I saw one on this site with the complete top and back patio top and camper enclosure. Where can I find canvas like that made for this boat?

Thanks

At your local canvas house, who measures your boat and fabricates the enclosure.

In the Biloxi area, may I suggest MAINLAND CANVAS

Or--- you can do what I did! I spent $1600 for a new Juki industrial sewing machine with a servo motor, purchased a tape measure, Sunbrella, polyester thread, snaps, zippers, vinyl for windows and made my own for my 40' Silverton aft cabin. Earlier I installed a hard top over the rear deck from Atlantic Towers. That area is also enclosed along with the helm area. I highly recommend that any sewing machine used have a walking foot.

My total cost was under $2500. I doubt you will get a canvas guy to even talk to you for $2500.

The only mistake I made was doing my own canvas work before I did a friend's in a barter deal. His came out better than mine although mine looks just fine. And I never did any prior sewing. Sewing is not rocket science.

Mainship was one of the Luhrs brands, and at least one of the other Luhrs brands always used the same OEM canvas and external uphostery supplier. The OEM supplier has the patterns. Somebody in your Mainship owners club ought to be able to name whoever Mainship used...
