Buying Duty Free Fuel

Hi all I'm new here its only taken me an hour to figure out how to post a Thread and I'm possibly in the wrong area? But here go's.
Recently I read somewhere that "Where you register your Motor /Yacht?" can have serious consequences in being able to purchase Duty Free Fuel? It didn't go into much more detail except to say its a consideration many Motor /Yacht Buyers don't pay enough attention to. If this is true? What would be the Best Country to register your Yacht to access Duty Free Fuel Globally (If Possible) ,,Cheers

never really had a problem buying duty free fuel with a uk flag when/after clearing customs out of a country globally, apart from in the med where generally you would need to be a non eu flagged vessel inside the eu and also comercialy registered or non private pleasure yacht.

you also generally would need to take on over 1000-1500 minmun liters to be eligible for a delivery by tanker buty free,as marinas in the EU can no longer supply tax free at the pump.
