Smile BMW190z reliable?

Hi
I’m looking at a BMW190z that has 230hrs but has been sitting for 20 years. Inside a steel hull with water in the hull below the engine. In Northern Australia Brisbane so Sub tropical climate
Looks good and clean but I’ve been warned about lack of parts.
To my mind it should be ok inside but I’m unaware of effects of time corrosion of any seals etc. Any inherent issues with these engines. It was new in 1998
Cheers
Pete
