Best Place to Find Skippers?

Hello, I have asked on this forum for a skipper recently but received hardly any interest.

So my question is, does anyone know where I would be able to find some decent skippers or where would be the best place to place to ask?

I don't want to go through an agency though.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks guys, basically, I have gone from having no work to having too much. I am working my ass off in Europe and need a skipper to relieve me. I have had no time off for 2 months.

A referral from some one you trust is the key factor. An trustworthy agency isn't something to ignore. Use one that comes with recommendations you can trust.

Internet Blind posts are one way to assure a problem will be likely.

First two places to check are at the location of the boat and the location your going to for recommendations.

If you need anything in North America or central I can help. I am a delivery captain and have fellow captains I can recommend. I also know a good agency down in OZ/New Zealand. Just shoot me a PM. I am booked through the end of summer but I have friends free.

Hi Jim,

If you PM me with some more details I may be able to help depending on where you are located - I work in Europe as a delivery Skipper and have also done some charter skippering.
