We've been in Islamorada, FL for the last 3 months and we like the marina, area, cruising grounds, etc. We have a lot of videos and blog posts about the marina, area, etc.

Hi Robb & Aubrey,
Thanks for the reply. Great videos. Looks like you are all having a great time.
What marina do you stay at ??
Pricing for dockage or web site to check it out or different options would be great.
Starting off in Fort Lauderdale. Hopefully this feb-mar. (or next year if it doesn't work out this year)
Have 60 Fuel tank so thinking 200 mile + range.
Keep the videos coming. very interesting

Thanks for watching! We are at Plantation Yacht Harbor. You can google the website. The cost to stay here is $2 per foot or maybe a little less for a monthly contract plus electric and water, which runs us about $50 per month. The harbor sits behind a 40 acre city park and the marina is run by the city. Beach, pool, nice facilities, tennis, bb courts, dog park, fields, etc. Shopping isn't but a few miles away and there are a few places to eat in walking distance. We have some video footage of the full marina and we are about to do a video review and put it on Youtube.

We tried another marina in Tavenier called Mangrove Marina and I definitely would NOT recommend it to anyone.

I've heard from a lot of people who pass by like us or you that have been coming here for 10+ years and they say that this is the nicest marina in the keys. Send me a PM if you have any questions and I will send you a link to the review when we have it completed. I like that this place is a quick 5 miles to the Davis Reef, lots of diving, wrecks, etc. We have a lot of favorite places to anchor out.
