Yard to Make Money

the best proven way (by many people I am told now) is to start a yard producing sailing yachts, when you want to get rid of your money

Have just spent 5 years on the above and can confirm this works.......

Well, there's always the old adage of: I spent all my money on women and boats; the rest was wasted.

So what did you build?...what was the biggest challenge?
Where were you? How did you shut down?
I'm very curios!

My bumper sticker in San Diego read "I spent most of my fortune on fast boats and pretty woman (or was it the other way around) Anyway, the rest I just wasted!

All carbon racing hulls with cruising interior; that is a niche

36 footers first and then a 47 footer; superb sailing with big galley and toilet(s)/showers

Everybody testing them loved them (15 knots stable and wheel loose straight) but then compared them with tupperware 'comparable' boats.........

We ended up with little left so now bought a 50 foot tupperware well built by Tashing so at least we can sell her one day when we need to.

Lesson learned
