What next?--with flip flops. Seriously--even us Bermudians, with our world famous shorts and long socks, draw the line before topsiders.

Worse yet, I still do.

Welcome CMZS to CF. You should probably not let everyone know so quickly that you wore socks with the Topsiders. Maybe get a little more experience with the forum as you may never live this down.

Re: This Is Tough to Admit, but About Two Years Ago . . .

I also wear socks with my topsiders. I intend to keep doing it until I can get a CF burgee. I am willing to escalate..I will wear suspenders (pant retainers for you Canadians) on my shorts and may even get a blue blazer with gold buttons!

IdorakKeeper,

Please continue to use the pant retainers as I have fear of the dreaded BC.

Re: This Is Tough to Admit, but About Two Years Ago . . .

This is tough to admit, but back in the 80's, I wore Sperry Topsiders.

And a Le Tigre' polo.

And plaid shorts.

With a sweater thrown over my shoulders.

Oh, and the front of my hair was pretty flippy too.

It was the 80's, everybody else was a cokehead but I just dressed like a preppy, just for a little while, really, it wasn't a long time. It wasn't. Just like a year or two. I swear.

You shouldn't reveal such information on your "first date."
