The old myths like don't leave on a voyage on a Friday are still practiced today, the real question is why do people believe this crap? All superstitions are just that superstitions and have no foundation in science. Are sailors really that screwed up that they would even consider a myth when planning a trip??

Enjoyed the responses everyone.

The post was made for humor and not due to any malicious attitudes towards #1. (I am not a superstitious person; eat all the bananas you want...).

Although we are better off apart, I will always think the best of her for giving me two incredible children.

Again thanks for the additional humor; being miffed at losing a day on the water I was looking for an outlet an CF came to mind..😉
