My old man has over 5000 flight hours, 2000 in combat from Vietnam. He said he had some ball of light doing moves a couple hundred yards off his starboard wing for an hour heading to the states over the Atlantic. He was in a KC 130 Hercules, so there was a crew of half a dozen or so; he was the pilot. Everyone saw it.

They didn't make an official report because apparently it's a pretty quick way to nose dive your military flight career is to start reporting seeing UFO's; you're just not taken very seriously, regardless of your skill. Probably like having a tatoo in a business meeting 20 years ago.

My Son and I saw the same thing a big orange ball that rose up from the columbia river it was the size of a football stadium. It sat on the water for about 5 minutes then slowly rose to about 1000 feet, then 10 or so small house sized balls that were red not orange came out of the bottom of it and looked like they were skipping and headed off in all directions then went straight up at about 800 mph. Then the orange ball pulsated for about a minute and dissapeared. He was 7 at the time and told his class the next day and I was called to a teacher meeting and told my Son had been telling tall tales. I told the teacher "I was there" She just glared at me and we walked out..
