Re: How Many Of You Want To Be Buried At Sea?

Doesn't matter where or how you get rid of me in my mind. If at sea use the the obvious. If on land dig a hole and chuck me in the clay. Either way I won't even be there...

Re: How Many Of You Want To Be Buried At Sea?

This is an interesting thread. I am planning on making the Pacific Puddle Jump in the next year or so, and I plan to scatter ashes of my mother and sister as I cross the equator. The way I figure it, both of them being big world travelers, they will continue to travel the world in the major currents.

For myself, I like the burial at sea, either ashes or whole. If whole, I would prefer that it not be while still alive on my Pacific Puddle Jump!

Cheers, Bill

AFAIC, next best thing is what I'm doing: donate myself to the nearest teaching hospital. Let the kids learn how to butcher ;-)

My instructions are that I am to be rolled from the bed of a pickup truck into the middle of the desert and left for the coyotes and buzzards. I'm partial to the Mojave, if it's convenient.

I'd rather not be buried alive! Once dead, I'll have no care.

Re: How Many Of You Want To Be Buried At Sea?

For me itís really a question of money near the time of my passing. If I donít have very much of it, Then seal me in stone and send me to the depths of the Mariana Trench. If I suddenly came into some great wealth, Freeze me solid and send me of into space.

I prefer the space idea. This way I can bank on the chance of some cosmic phenomenon or alien being finding and resurrecting me. Hey maybe Iíll become some omnipotent being. Maybe Iíll become a Q.

It's all a matter of attitude.

Don't really care, cremation is fine with me. In any event, my wife says she'll make a gemstone out of my remains, then make a necklace with the gemstone. That way I can be nestled with her girls, just like I do while I'm alive.

Re: How Many Of You Want To Be Buried At Sea?

Given that I will presumably be dead at the time, I don't really care how they dispose of the body.

The ceremony/burial is really for those left behind.
