One time I was visiting a marina in my hometown checking out all the sailboats, and making mental notes of things I was going to look for in a new boat once I retire. I'm staring hardcore at this guys boat, and all of a sudden, he pops up from under the deck, and says, "HEY, captain! Can I help you?"

He startled me so badly that I jump, fell off the dock. I just popped up from under the water with this look like, "Help, I've fallen and I can't get up. Ha. Old man just laughed and laughed. We're now great buddies...and he helped me pick out a boat.

Absolutely 110%

The marinas in OZ are getting very security conscious though with more having locked gates etc.

Some are still good for a little boat porn though!

Someone said something like this to me once when I had a magazine about radios. I'm into Amateur Radio and work with military radios, so it's a full time hobby.

That scoops the pool for the day! The best laugh!

Thanks for admitting it

Harder to do from land because of security but we take advantage of the opportunity if we're visiting a marina on a charter or cruise or visiting friends who have a boat in the marina.
