There is a slim possibility she got out. I just talked to the harbormaster, and he is keeping an eye out for her as well. I am just worried about her. Thanks for the laughs, and advice.

Well, duh.. that is where they hide the cats. He doesn't mess with cats ever since the "Sniffing your butt is how we introduce ourselves" incident back in '08.

Talking

Final update: She is out and safe. I have covered the area I suspect she used to get into the bilge. I ended up corralling the other animals, and leaving the boat with the engine compartment door open. When I came back the door was closed and she was on the ledge in the salon.

I lost a kitty once but not on a boat as I didn't have a boat then. The mattress was taken off the bed and leaned against the wall and quiet sneaky kitty squeezed somehow into the space between the mattress protector and mattress. Later on, with the puzzle of missing kitty ["I am sure she was just outside the bedroom asleep a moment ago."], the mattress was put back on the bed. Lucky for everyone, the strange bump on the top of the mattress, not underneath, turned out to be kitty having a nap. They sure like cozy spots. Boats would be awesome for cats though I would prefer to train kitty how to flush than have kitty litter inside where I might stand in it, or heaven forbid, smell it.

I am not freaking out as much, but she got around the blockade I made and is back in the bilge. Bilge rat is officially her new nick name.
