Re: Anyone Else Tired of Winter?
Hey LakeSuperior,
I'm counting on you to light a big fire or something up there and thaw that place out! I need access by the end of May!

Here's a weather forecast from a local celebrity on the storm we have coming.

LMAO!
Are there no trees in Nova Scotia? Does everybody in Nova Scotia shout? Does everybody in Nova Scotia get the same 3:47 minutes of air-time on a daily basis? Is this the first winter storm to ever hit Nova Scotia? Does anybody outside of Nova Scotia really care about the consistently crappy weather in Nova Scotia?
I think these are all pertinent questions that the moderators of this Forum should poll, if only to get Nova Scotia on the map as a potential destination for those who are bored with sailing the Horn and the Bay of Biscay.

Jacques, I feel your pain. My company has a yard right down the street from Budweiser off Busch Dr. There were a few days in the low teens in Jacksonville.

Don't worry it'll rain tomorrow, and probably the rest of the week too.
Gawd, I'll be glad to get back to SF to wash the dust off the boat.

Re: Anyone Else Tired of Winter?
I just saw a weather forecast for the northland of 70s by August! ;>)
Seriously, has anyone else noticed that the weather just hasn't been the same since we went to the moon?

Re: Anyone Else Tired of Winter?
Here it is March 26. By this time last year my boat was prepped for launch, I had installed a new solar system and everything was ready. This year I haven't even gone and visited the boat since Nov 27.
Lets hope when the weather turns it turns and doesn't just keep hanging around crappy like.

Re: Anyone Else Tired of Winter?
I confess! It's my fault! Here in Michigan, I had my purchase offer accepted on a bluewater cruiser contingent upon a satisfactory survey. Of course, the weather refuses to warm up enough so we can do it.
This is a picture of my slip from last weekend. Don't think I'll try to drag my boat over the ice.
I humbly apologize.
