zeehag on the Move

ZeeHag sent an A-Ok message from my Spot gps this morning in Ensenada. That should mean she is preparing to head out for Mazatlan again! You can follow her progress via the Spot gps check ins at http://sksolitarybird.com

Fair winds Zee!

Oh, and it is my understanding that she is sailing with Juan, the licensed Captain we met when we first arrived in Ensenada. He's been helping her fix her boat while she's been in Ensenada, including the dreaded packing gland repair.

Re: Zeehag on the move?

I'm not sure that she remembers how to activate the live trace function on the Spot. So we may be limited to when she remembers to hit the OK button.

That's fine though, so long as it continues to be the OK button!

doubt she is movin' and more testing. Its a Friday, and her cat is a superstitious type.

could be wrong.

Making good time too in what looks to be light wind. Close to 30 miles in 4 hours (Motoring?). Hope she has a good sail.

Knowing how tight her money is, I doubt she's motoring very much if she can avoid it. But she's definitely making the downhill run.

Re: Zeehag on the Move ?

the consistency of her track and very light winds leads me to believe strongly she is motoring, 'specially that close to shore

She may get lucky and a good spot of wind in the bay above Cedros, 'specially @ night
