Re: zeehag on the Move

Congrats on your trip, and eight pages of admirers!

Be sure to visit El Mercado Central and try some smoked marlin.
YUMMY !!!

Are you in Marina Mazatlan or anchored out in the South anchorage?
If you're in the South anchorage, unless the sewage situation has changed since we were there, DON'T BE ABOARD in mid afternoon!
As you may have noticed, in Mexico the wind comes from the direction of the sun most of the time.
It only takes one experience of the wind from the West in mid afternoon and you'll know why!

Have fun visiting Old Town as well.

Wishing I was back there,

Re: zeehag on the Move

I was anchored in the old harbour just over 2 months ago, they are rebuilding the treatment plant right now.The smell was bearable for a few days, alot of people anchor behind Stone Is. just outside harbour, more relaxed beach & palapa scene, not protected from summer southerlies though.
