Re: zeehag on the Move

According to the manual... the batteries should last 7 days on a consistent live track.

Guess Zee will be able to fill us in on how quickly the batteries drained.

I understand that they also need to be lithium batteries exclusively, so one can't buy re-chargeables. Something to do with a steady output or something, I think.

Re: zeehag on the Move

heh Salty,

Does CF have any members in Maz that you know? If so has any of them posted any info on what if anything is going to happen when Zee arrives. You would think that with all the members on CF that at least one or two would be following this story line in Maz.

Yup. Appears the SPOT is off. Zee is probably sleeping. She's been good about keeping it running.

Re: zeehag on the Move

There are two places of entry in the city of Maz.on the south emd there is a narrow entrance around a breakwater and about 200 yaeds further on there is a anchorage to the left. The ferry docks are in this area as is Customs and Immigration. Further in the harbor it gets quite commericial.

On the north end the entrance is through breakwaters that are less than 50 feet wide followed by a 90* sharp turn to the right and down a norrow channal. A marina is on the right behind a fuel dock. Further in there is what once was a very large maeina but the ownership has been divided amonst several concerns. It is possible to have the management do your paper work for you. US expats have set up permenate camp here and a large social group has evolved.
