Who wants to join us in the BVI for a week in April?
My girlfriend and I are renting a 38' Catamaran in the BVI for one week (April 24-30), and are looking for one or two other couples to join us and split the expenses.
It's a 38 foot Fountaine Pajot Athena, which can comfortably hold up to three couples (4 double cabins/2 heads).
We are looking for some fun, like-minded people to meet us in Tortola on April 24th, and have a great, fun week sailing.
I am 40, and my girlfriend is 33 yrs old. We both live in Colorado (Boulder and Telluride) We are both internet marketing entrepreneurs, and I also fly as a captain for a major, international cargo airline.
We're both very easy going and fun, adventurous people.
I envision that on a typical day, we'll spend about 3-4 four hours actually sailing, and the rest of the time at anchor, either snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, drinking, eating, reading, etc, or going ashore to check out the local beach bars and restaurants.
The weekly rate is $3300 for the entire boat, so that would be $1100-$1650 per couple for the week, depending on if we get one or two additional couples to go, plus incidentals (food, gas, drinks, nat'l park fees etc...)
I will be the boat captain, and am going to go down two days early to go out with the owner for a boat orientation/checkout. But I will happily share the duties with other sailors.
