Thumbs up Re: We're Out of Here!

Top stuff - I am hoping to do the same in the next few days. I was up last night doing work on the engine to all hours then up again this morning on the rigging. It is going to be great to make the same move and get too sea again.

Safe voyaging

Re: We're Out of Here!

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Caribbean53.

Congratulations on your first leg, Zee.

I'm not seeing anything on their "Track GPS" SPOT page. Any ideas why?

Are you not seeing the page or not seeing updates since their arrival in Ensenada last night?

I'm still seeing their track, but no recently updated position. I assumed that they shut down their instruments in harbor so aren't transmitting new positions for the time being.

Was this an unscheduled stop or were they always planning to go to Ensenada? I hope that stern tube isn't giving them trouble.

The java applet that does it is extremely slow loading, just leave the window open for a while

Best of luck with the voyage, am starting to make my way south at the European end of this dirtball next week

Re: We're Out of Here!

I haven't caught her threads lately, does she have a particular destination in mind or is she just going with the flow?

Re: We're Out of Here!

With apologies for the distraction.

I see the “Track GPS” page < Track GPS | WithSailsUnfurled > ,
but no map,
nor position chart (whatever).

I allowed 5 minutes to load.

In addition to the menu bar & logos, I see the message:

“When active, our SPOT GPS will allow for tracking our position in near real-time fashion here at WithSailsUnfurled .com! See our position for up to seven days worth of updates at a time.”
