It would not be hard to build a custom made vessel that could take such a beating so as to survive a hurricane. It would need to be absolutely watertight and have a positive metacentric height at all angles of inclination. Why not do this with a submersible that can surface in the eye?

The only other thing I would suggest is to bring lots of Bonine.

the point isn't the sea state in the eye. It's the wall that people want to see. I have a few ideas for a vessel to do it in. My bride won't let me for any amount of $$$
