Does anyone know if I can get provisions in Princess Charlotte Bay Nth Queensland as I an cruising through in August

Was talking recently a mate of mine who runs a couple of professional vessels out of Cairns and into that area.

He indicated he frequently is approached by vessels short of supplies and desperate in the area.

Many smaller vessels are unprepared and underprovisioned for long distance crusing.

Hi Downunder,
Thanks for the reply, we will provision for the journey properly but I was told that there is some kind of supply boat that caters for the trawling fleet that operates out of Princess Charlotte, I think they said it is called the "Ship Shop", would just like to confirm if that is true or not. Would certainly make life easier it it was. Will certainly need ice for the beer by the time we get into that area.

Look up the professional fishing organisations in Cairns area for such info.and give them a call.

Thats where I would look.
