WInds are now starting too pick up a bit here as well, though geez nothing on what cairns is probably getting. If you know anyone up there give them a call make sure they're taking all precautions possible for this one IMO.

I see that the hamo weather station is recording 50knots now. (2pm) More than townsville 22knots and cairns 31knots. Go figure!
