Man, that is a long time to be all alone and in such a little boat. I admire his guts and hope he makes it safely.

This guy is a legend. Good to see he is still going with a jury rig. Has anyone seen pics of his jury rig?

Also I recommend the book "500 days around the world on a 12 foot yacht" by Serge Testa. This guy is a legend too. For more info go here The Voyage of Acrohc Australis Serge was a real cruiser too. You can see his boat in the Museum at Brisbane.

I know the link was posted in another thread but thought I would update this thread about Alessandro's finish in Les Sables D'Olonne today. His circumnavigation took 268 days, 19 hours and 36 minutes.

For sure, but maybe not non-stop.

Not non stop but I think still the smallest boat to sail around the world. Left Brisbane Australia June 1984 returned May 1987- 12 ft.
