I can't imagine the horror the ants experienced after biting me!

Hopefully OPSAILOR will post a pic, or 2. I think they were the only one's who had a camera. I will have to admit the photo will show what a goodlooking crowd we are!

I too, had a great time meeting everyone and eating the great food prepared by all. Thanks also for the contributions of our host and hostess who did a great job of providing more than enough meat and chicken. I suppose the ants began cursing in Dutch after all the Heinekens. Best wishes to all and thank you again for a great afternoon of comraderie with fellow cruisers.
Sonny

johnar,

Thanks for the great job of pressurewashing the area! I didn't see a turn signal as you drove away either. I was positive you were lost!!!!!!!

Imagine2 frolic,
I have pictures but I could not figure out how to post them to the forum. I even was going to email them to you so you could post them but that was presented in a custom that I could decipher.

Great party! I am still trying to put names to faces and faces to screen names. Way too much information. Great Party. Great facility for hosting such a great party. Sent me a pm with your email address and I will email you the pictures so you can post them on the forum.

I can not wait for the CF function in NE Florida.

One of three Johns

Imagine2frolic,

Boy, was that a great party. Thanks for being the host. I know it took a lot of hard work. Thanks again to you and your mate.

GCS Gathering

Hey Cruisers... Sorry Sorry about the photos... aparantly my battery was dying, and these are the only photos that came out of the 20 or so I snapped.

I also include a shot of Bettye in the cat-bird seat as we finally re-launch "Son of a Sailor" yesterday. Everything seems to be working well, so wish us luck!

imagine2frolic,
The short answer is "NO"! I have been going over my notes, screen names, and types of yachts. Boy is it confusing. Sorry about the size of the pictures I sent. I will try down size the pics on the other two or three. OPSailor has some nice pics.

Herbseesmoore (spouse) and I had a great time. Nice to meet a generous group of folks. The food was wonderful. The stories were pretty good too. I should have tried the home brewed beer! darn...got blown away by a hurricane before I found out about the beer.

Everyone,

Just so you know. Mel, and I had a great time too. When Mel was about to get on the boat. She was afraid she would be isolated. She is a social creature. She soon found out that was far from the truth. She has made friends from many parts of the world while we cruised. Some we keep running across in our journeys. Thanks to all for showing up.

We have had a couple of suggestions to do it again. Sounds like fun to me.......i2f

imagine2frolic,
Throw out another poll just to get an idea from the travelers to the south when it would be a good time to hold an event in the spring. I know we had a few people interested from North of the Virginia line that could not make it because of insurance restrictions.
