Re: Packing for 4month cruise

Yes, the happy French side of the island. The nudist resort there many years ago was leveled by which storm? I know it has been rebuilt.

Itch on the 'glass work in the nude, pun intended.

A sweater to keep you warm on the airplane and some munchies... that's the only way you're gonna make it in 4 months.... :>) ohhhhh... you mean Cruise Ship! Bring some things to keep you warm! It's not always paradise out there....

Why is it that some marry the off spring of someone we can't stand. Maybe that's why there are so many divorces.

Re: Packing for 4month cruise

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love my inlaws all just fine.

It's the CRUISE I am whinging about... The whole idea sounds like torture to me. BUT. It's their 50th and while we offered to throw them a bells and whistles party for all their friends to celebrate with them they really wanted to take the grandkids and the parents on a trip.

Honestly, I think the parents only got invited so they could get the grandbabies all in one place for the first time in 5 years ; -)

And their idea of a super fun trip is a cruise... So I am puttin on my big girl panties and a smile and all my bling and going.

But LORD am I not looking forward to 9 days (admit it, that's a LONG time with any travel companions!) of being on a big hotel/mall/las vegas resort for all that time.

There are 24 hr bars on the boat. Make the best of them. That's all the advice I can give.
