New photos released about temple complex discovery

I found an ancient temple complex here in Philippines.

Note advisory about 4 Coast Guard aboard before looking.

Re: New photos released about temple complex discovery

It is the photographs that are being released to the general public.

Further I have attempted to post images that enable someone to see the process involved that renders an ordinary looking flat block into this

This depicts a large eel being lured onto a bamboo platform by a bird. While focused on the birdie the platform is dragged up the shore. I did not understand the meaning of all the small circles until I found a similar water color of the Maori people doing the same.

Overall, it changed me from being 100% convinced myself to 100% convinced everyone can see the temple area is not just natural stones.

Well everyone with an open mind. See the photos.

That is the most extreme case of pareidolia applied to mimetoliths that I have ever seen.

I had to look those terms up.
"Pareidolia and Mimetoliths are things that look like other things they are not.
A Pareidolia can be a Potato that looks like a face and Mimetoliths are rocks that look like a living being."

Gord, I worshipped that potato for years.

But this morning in my toast I found a face. So I planted the potato and am selling tickets to the toast.

Gord,

Thanks for explaining terms I never knew, may never use, and get a kick out of learning.

Thanks too to StuM, for using language that tickles the mind and gives a bit of levity and levelness to a thread.

I just love this. You should really look twice before dismissing a man on horseback in a rhino hunt that has trowel marks the same as in Petra.

Or perhaps the image of a sailboat is imaginary, as well as the man holding the pole drawing the vessel closer to shore. How many here can tell you the name of the rig?

Either those are poor pictures, or I am imaginationally-challenged. I don't see anything even when I squint and try to see it. I have started praying to that dog, though.

Perhaps you can outline what you describe?

Re: New photos released about temple complex discovery

I am not trying to set you up to look as you do, rather this is obviously my inability to communicate a difficult concept for most to soak in.

I have not told you yet, but this is one of three massive sculptures. The 30 ft tall bust with two eyes, eye whites, black pupils, a nose, mouth, chin, and hair tied up behind in a bun seems to me to be really neat.

One problem is getting people to come to the site since the 2 Germans were kidnapped not very far away last year.

Their boat is still here and for sale.

So if anyone here has an open mind, can I mention there are 2 other sphinx of roughly the same size built at other harbor entrances of Palawan.

That's OK - just outline or circle in the photo what you are talking about. I don't see anything, but maybe that is just my problem.
