New cat name.

As my building of a Wharram tiki 26 nears it's completion i have considered many names for the boat.

Some have deep and meaningful reasons, that i am sure i would get tired of explaining all the time. Other names are based on Polynesian mythology.

But I ain't no Polynesian.

My latest inspiration has been S.V. Warthog.Short and sweet. Not bad on the tooth either and they always put a smile on my face.

What do ya reckon?

Re: New cat name.

i have suggested calling the prout "DADDIES SHED"! to my kids,or since it will be growing a deck house "SPROUT"

though in your case "WARTHOG" would allow you to do some great grafics on the bow and stern, instead of the shark teeth,a couple of tusks at the waterline on the bow and twin tails on the stern!

Re: New cat name.

Sprout, it could grow on you....

I did the shark Motif on my fishing kayak, it always gets the surfers attention paddling thru the back break
Warthog tusks would be a first for me though.

Re: New cat name.

CAll it anything... except cute things involving "cat", "double", "two" and so on.

I must say that warthog has some appeal ...
Cheers,

Jim

Re: New cat name.

I am pretty settled on s.v. Warthog. My little sister remarked that like the skipper to be '' It is all leathery and a bit long in the tooth''
