I don't actually smoke them. I wrap them in foil with some seasoning, and let them simmer in their own juices. At 8 hours they are difficult to handle, because they want to fall apart. We can smoke one, and do the other in foil. I have 2 grills at the clubhouse........i2f

Hi John -

We're finally back in town for more than 48 hours. Since my broken leg has pretty much healed I decided to fall down and break my arm. I think I can still hold a beer with one hand so the 22nd sounds like a great time. If you get me an approximate head count I can try to assemble a large pot of chili if that sounds like a good idea to everybody.

We'll be taking FreeStyle to Holland Marine about 11/9 or 11/10 so we will probably see you before the 22nd.

Hi to Melanie.

FS,

I2F,

Mac and Cheese it will be. When things firm up give a head count so we will know whether to make 1 or 2 trays.

FS,

I am trying to fall down ever since I fractured my talus. I will be there with my boot on. I hope to be able to put pressure on the foot by the Fall Ball.

I am elated you are making the break. I will talk to you about the trip at the Fall Ball. I am very interested in your plans/insurance.

My boyfriend and I would like to join in on the fun. I am new to the forum and sailing, but we are trying to learn everything we can about sailing and the lifestyle as we are looking for our first boat! We live in southside jax. How far will this fall ball be? I am not very familiar with GCS.

If you cross the river on hiway 16, and go over the Shands bridge. To the right you will see 2 cruise ships. We will be 50 yards in front of both bows. You can drink, and listen to a lot of lies, and possibly get some good advice too. There are several boats for sale at the docks........i2f

As you cross over the St. Johns River on the Shands Bridge, the two lane highway, Rt 16, will turn into a 4 lane road. You will travel less than 4 miles. The Reynolds Center is on the right hand side. If you cross the railroad tracks, you have missed the right turn into Reynolds. I2F correct me if I am wrong.

HI JOHN,

Much better description than mine. They have removed the tracks though it is obvious tracks use to be there. There will be a large Reynolds Park sign at the entrance.

I was informed the Ham Jam is taking place that same weekend. I will find out the particulars to make sure there is no confusion entering, or at least very little?

I think by the 13th we should have a show of hands, and contribution of dishes, so we don't end up with 5 salads......i2f

i2f,
Please let me know the dates and times of the ham jam. I would be interested in visiting the ham jam too. I am not a ham but I am studying.
