My News

And here is my news. Ive been a little absent lately whilst somewhat busy with someone special. Therefore im most proud and pleased to anounce that I am now officially no longer single and whats more, 'we' have a boat too.

We first met a few weeks ago when Alan decided It was too risky to keep chatting to me online, and he flew in to check me out for real and stake his claim. All went very well and we decided to take things a step further, so I paid him a return visit in Sardinia in the med and got home earlier today.

We spent the week onboard the boat and im hooked. Shes a Fisher 46, built in 1982 and the last of the glass bottom variety. She has a few mod cons inc 2 heads with large showers, a huge aft cabin, a large double berth in the front cabin plus 2 more bunks and hanging space and draws, 8kva gen, washing machine, upright fridge freezer, fully pumped hot and cold water heated from the gen and Ford Sabre 120hp. Roto furling in main and mizzen masts, huge pilot house with most electric bits etc.

Alan is even better. Tall dark and handsome, a retired surgeon with no ties and lots of dreams to fullfill with the right woman.

The boat was hauled 2 weeks ago and we have planned 3-4 months of maintenance and work before we depart for Greek waters next summer, and after that, the world is our lobster.

Alan is a real hunny and says if I can make a watermaker, I can have all the hot water showers I want, so my immediate project is getting plans and making a list of parts.

Wow, to good to be true. Tall dark handsome doctor with large boat. Maybe my dream of a deaf mute nympho with outboard will happen.

Hey! Congratulations! I hope it all goes well for the 2 of you.

Now to those single guys who piss into a bucket and have no head, no shower, no toilet etc have a look at what a single girls looks for - in order of writing so thats order of importance - when she is selecting her man:

Let me explain those important things: 2 heads with large showers, a huge aft cabin, a large double berth in the front cabin plus 2 more bunks and hanging space and draws.

I hope the guy measures up too! Especially the Plimsoll line!

OC,

Don't look at it as aloss. Look at it as an addition. She's not going to abandon you now.

WOOOHOOOOOO GIRL,

My fingers are crossed he is what he seems, and you both enjoy eternal bliss.......i2f
