Wow, if the '11 map comes from the same data sourch as the '12 map, there appears to have been a dramatic decrease in pirate attacks in single year. I wonder what factors made that difference?

I'm just really glad there was no baloons on the US west coast all the way to Alaskia I guess it's too cold in these northern waters for ocean going thiefs and killers aka pirates
