Sooo sorry for your loss. I know we will do all we can. Lets see if we can at least do double of S.A. A friendly competition never hurts.

Jesse:'
Many thanks and seek me out. I'll be the tall, grey bearded guy with the forelorn look his face. Please come and introduce yourself

I may be clingiing to my son Max who is even much taller and is also good at holding his Dad up. I worry who is hlding Max up. They were tight brothers and Max gets a bit neglected in the grieving process.

Re: Memorial fund for Spike Perry

Hi Bob:
Very sorry for your loss. I don't think it is right for a parent to attend his child's funeral. I'll throw some money in the pot and send a prayer towards your family.

5 times better then Sailing Anarchy

Ok we have 50,000 members now. A buck a piece and we are at $50k for the Spike Perry Memorial. 5 times more then sailing anarchy. I know some can't/won't do it but lets see what we can do. I'll pick up the slack for 25 members. I'm in for $26. Lets do it!!!!!

Re: Memorial fund for Spike Perry

BTW, this fund was NOT started by Bob but by his friends over on SA and CA. Please contribute if you can, I have, more than once. This money goes directly to a scholarship for maritime training at the school. Two kids that wouldn't have been able to go to sea, will now be able to. Keep it up....
