Ran across this article this morning: Mariner adrift in Pacific awaits rescue by AMVER participating Global Explorer | Coast Guard News

Looks like everyone safe and awaiting arrival of a cargo vessel.

I don't know if that is the Makalii voyaging canoe that they are rescuing but maybe.

More info from the US Coast Guard. Apparently only one crew member on board at the time. Mariner adrift in Pacific rescued | Coast Guard News
