I'm sure the bulk of that money
is needed for her family
to visit her and help her out during the journey, not necessarily with repairs

And she's 15, she's not even allowed to work
maybe she should just stay home and get a job at the local mall and start thinking about boys and cars? Since that's "normal" and "right", right?... Since you're so well financed Mark, then it probably wouldn't hurt you to donate a few bucks to an aspiring young sailor, would it?
