It blew pretty hard all last night and most of today here so far. We are about 50 miles inland from Winchester Bay, Oregon and have been receiving gusts to 45 - 50 miles per hour on the east side of the hills. We have been listening to the vhf here and have heard of more than one boat breaking loose in Winchester Bay marina. It must be pretty wild over there.

Station 46050 went adrift on 12/03/2007 and the last report from its moored position was at 700Z. It is still transmitting valid observation data, which continue to be reported here, but not from the location above. Click http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/nws_special/46050.txt to see the latest positions.

Overall, it looks like it has been somewhat less than was predicted
