Re: Headless bodies of pair on a Lagoon440 found in Thailand

Sorry about the thread deviation but what is a "largest minority"? Is that the opposite of a small majority?

Regarding the story... I haven't enough information to make an assessment of what this lack of data represents.

I'll shut up now... continue speculating.

I was thinking along those lines, and I bet we will find out they weren't cruisers, but locals, This may not turn out to be a crime against cruisers, but a crime targeting these specific individuals and the time they spent on the boat is when they were most vulnerable and easiest to assassinate.

It appears that after 2 pages of discussion the only relevance to sailing this report has was the bodies where indeed found in the ocean. "Move along nothing to see".

What?! Really? I thought now that the army's in charge, the chaos of Thai democracy was behind us. Seriously, I lived in Thailand for four years and agree this is out of character.

I suppose you could always move on to another thread that better suits you.

Re: Headless bodies of pair on a Lagoon440 found in Thailand

What I am referring to is the Police say the bodies in the water have nothing to do with the catamaran anchored near by. So let the thread continue but the dead people at this point appear to have nothing to do with sailing.

A full investigation is now underway into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male and female, thought to be of foreign nationality, off the coast of Larn Island, earlier this week. New developments suggest the discovery of an abandoned Catamaran nearby is not connected to the pair in any way. - See more at: New Developments in abandoned boat case near Pattaya Island | Pattaya One Pattaya News, Thailand News, World News, updated 24 hours a day

I must have missed that. The bodies had tattoos so I imagine they will be indentified readily. . I agree, would have never happened in a mono...

Re: Headless bodies of pair on a Lagoon440 found in Thailand

Ok well very sad and creepy but maybe the lesson here is that Gods people dont like catamarins? If you want real sesational sensless violence visit N America. Now those folks is crazy!
