Going to the Annapolis Sailboat Show Oct 4-8?

For the past several years there's been a gathering of online friends from Sailnet who come to town for the show. It's always a blast to put IRL faces to the screennames you've been typing to. This year we're hoping to combine the annual boat show">Annapolis Boat Show Sailnet Gathering with the Women Who Sail gathering and include Cruisers Forum folks as well. Friday, Oct 5 after the Boat Show closes at 7 PM! Since quite a few folks are members of multiple sites, it makes sense to combine the gatherings. (Besides, I've never yet been to a party where people complained there were just too many interesting folks in attendance!) Port Annapolis marina, on Back Creek. We'll be on the deck just south of the big gray-and-white building by the pool. Accessible by water taxi, or dinghy dock just left of the travelift, or plenty of parking for those coming by car. Bring some good sea stories (or boat show stories) and whatever you're drinking and we'll all chip in for pizza.

How very kind of you to extend to us an invitation. I can't speak for all on CF but a small group from our Single Sailors Seeking Soul Mates ( SSSSM) are planning a gathering on Saturday as well. It's possible we may stop over after dinner.

I'm a member of both forums so this will be a great opportunity for me to put some faces to names.

I'm very much looking forward to hearing your sea stories. As a woman that's out there cruising already you are one of my heroines!

Thanks for the invitation. I'm going to try and make it. Just had some problems with where I had planned to stay tonight and Thur. So, I'm playing the sleeping arrangements by ear. Nothing like an adventure.
