Dockage in West Palm

I recently read an announcement in one of the 'Cruising Mags' about the new free docks along the ICW just south of Peanut Island. Has anyone tried the new docks?? Any info (pros/cons, time limits, etc.) appreciated. Might make waiting for a 'weather window' to cross to the Bahamas a bit more enjoyable. We're planning on a 'southbound' cruise this fall.

Been there by dinghy. Nice docks made for big boats. Only problem is you can't stay. You must be off midnight. There's a phone number you must call to get authorization. I don't have it handy but it is on the city website.
