Unhappy Captain Doug Abbot Passed Away

A terrific member of this forum who was a wealth of knowledge and a very accomplished mariner passed away a couple of months ago. I'm not sure if there's another thread about this, and if so please let me know and I'll delete this one. I hadn't heard the news yet, and just saw it briefly mentioned in another thread.

He'll be missed. He was one of those guys that when he spoke up about a topic, it was coming from a long line of experience.

Our thoughts go out to the family, friends and co-workers of Captain Douglas Abbott.

Prayers go out. May only the good memories quickly replace the pain and remind the family and many friends of Captain Doug the reason he was here for those that loved him.

Fair winds and smooth sailing on the voyage to the promised land.
