One thing about the buoy reports is that there can be vastly different wave conditons depending upon location. For Example the buoy off of the Columbia
River Bar is in 60 meters of water
(296') The channel is 14 meters (45') when you read the waves at the buoy I don't believe they represent the wave height in the channel.
