Bay County, FL, set to remove ferrocrete "junk vehicle"
Bay opts to clean then lien
Bay County, Florida, USA, plans to initialize the enforcement of a recent ordinance by carting away a derelict ferrocrete boat and cleaning up another property, then charging the property owners for the trouble. This may be the end of another form of yard wreck, the "backyard builder" who loses interest in completing the project. More than one author has suggested ferrocrete is responsible for more unfinished dreams than any other method of boat building as would-be builders start projects not realizing the hull constitutes a relatively small portion of the expense of a boat. |
