that is horrible I didn't hear about that in the Astoria paper.

It was throughout Oregon, not just Astoria. Some were health related, heart attacks, etc.

Its hard to tell how many deaths are natural or just exasaserbated b/c of the stress of the storm.

I hope to go up in January and vist her. Good luck with your search for a boat. There are lots of opinions out there. I'm sure you'll use what is useful and take the rest with a grain of salt.
