Re: Apocalypse..any plans?

Though I doubt the world will end for all of all at one today....the thought of getting stuff done before the world ends because you don't want to die with out your life having the personal meaning you would like (unfinished). Gives people a reality check of sorts, all of our lives will end, though not necessarily at the same time and no one really knoes when. For that reason people should live life as fully as possible. Like sailing into the tropical sunset and being happy.....

If you haven't already seen it, be sure to be at the walking street intersection at sunset to watch the swallows land.
It happens every night, and is a beautiful thing to see.

Re: Apocalypse..any plans?

I'm disappointed. I have been psyched up for the "end of the world " for years and so yesterday I told my boss to go screw herself, take this job and shove it, etc. Gave all my money to Jerry's kids, and blew up my house just to use up extra dynamite I no longer would be needing. It was cold here last night and with no house, I burned up my art collection and all the furniture to keep warm until today's appocalypse, which tonme has been vastly overdue.

It could be a simple mistake. For example, I heard that God actually said "celebrate" not "celibate." Oh well.

Re: Apocalypse..any plans?

Other than fregging cold with the heater turned up to "mother" on the boat, all is well here too. Maybe they used the wrong calender.

The Mayan calendar marks the 26,000 year cycle of our universe. I personally never believed it marked the apocalypse. Great site here, http://www.exploringlifesmysteries.c...cember-21-2012

Re: Apocalypse..any plans?

Shoot! Now all the banks are going to be calling Monday b/c I max'd out all of the credit cards and over drew on the checking accounts. Hopefully they'll take Xmas Eve off too!

How far off shore can one get in 5 days?
