Anchoring at the Miami Boat Show

Will there be a way to anchor somewhere off the show and attend the show via tender?

Thanks!

There will be several places, but my favorite is between Star, Hibiscus, and Palm Islands. It is a longer dinghy ride, but you can take the canal through South Beach all the way to the show. The Canal starts just about 100 ft. north of Lincoln Ave.

According to a statement by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), attendance dropped by seven per cent at this year's Miami International Boat Show. The number of visitors at the show's three sites fell from 137,175 last year to 128,018 this year.

I went to the Miami show and I found a lot of the dealers standoffish and rude. I have done a couple of years research and have decided on a live aboard cat. It was like pulling teeth the get some info and found a few dealers sent reps that did not even know the boat. Also the shows hours could have been better. With the economy the way it is all high priced items are effected and the dealers might want to think about that. There are choices out there and they should not think there boat will sell it self.
