All Florida voters it's time to act.

If you own a boat or are a legal Florida voter it is time to be involved in Florida's future. The legislators in Tallahassee will be taking up legislation from the Florida fish and Wild Life commission. They will be introducing legislation for the next years session about anchoring laws. I urge all of you to get involved and write your legislators to get them to look carefully at this issue. I have gotten in touch with my representatives and I am asking you to do the same Before the Election next week. Let's let them hear our voices is all I'm asking. Below are some links you can use.

Calendar for 10/27/2014 - The Florida Senate
Florida House of Representatives - MyFloridaHouse.gov

Good then you can share the number to call. And who is your senator and representative so everyone knows?

Seriously? John Thrasher but he just took that job at UNF. For a guy who doesn't like to fund education, he's "ok" with $500,000 a year and a 1 million dollar special election to replace him.

Other one is Doc Reugard. Both offices could care less. Maybe if you send a check with your letter you'll have better success.

Thanks Boatguy

Maybe we can all shame I mean pressure them into saving our anchorages. But it will take all of us.

To quote Robin Williams

"Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often.....and for the same reason."

Yes, it is time to act. A politician that takes a position will not be able to fulfill his obligation and costs floridians $1,000,000 is worthless. Just goes to show the education system in Florida is run by the politicians not the educators. Also shows that the governing board is not interested in education quality but state money. Florida could check vessels afloat for hull numbers before the vessels sink. Tow the ones that do not have hull numbers. Let the owners claim them before the state has to find them after the vessel sinks.
