Where Are We?

Hi, all.

I think I must be doing some something (probably a lot of things, but that's beside the point) wrong.

I clicked on the Member Map, trying to see how many Canadians are on the forum. I could see no way even to populate the map, let alone select for a specific location.

Surely, there's a trick I'm missing.

Still Pooched? Maybe we should just remove the link from the header. It's obviously not widely used.

"This web site needs a different Google Maps API key."
A new key can be generated at Google Maps API - Google Code.

Born and raised in Winnipeg (aka Winterpeg Manisnowba). I really do hate the city and climate there. Interesting fact: it's the coldest (average temperature) city in the world.

Anyhow, most of Canada is great. I really want to see the East coast some time.

Huh - I just tried to access the member map also and got a message that I don't have adequate permissions. - Probably a security issue. Maybe we're not supposed to know where each other lives

The software that runs the member map is not compatible with the current version of the forum software and our server setup. We have all the data and will look at building a new compatible version but do not have an ETA for that at this time.
